Custom Silk Scarves – Screen Making
The manufacturing procedure is to divide the colors of pattern which is called screen-making. When it is carried out, the screen-maker should sit before the table, shining with light. Then stick a transparent piece of paper over the prototype, and draw the same colored details with Chinese ink on the paper. Every piece of paper is for every color. If one piece of silk scarf has 40 different colors which would require you to draw 40 pieces of transparent paper. There is a major significance for this work slow as ant’s crawling. The quality of drawing determines the effect of screen making.
Custom Silk Scarves – Coloring
Unique colors are a special silk scarf factor that weaver is proud to claim. Weaving masters configure water, color elements and raw gum precisely. Linter red, delicate black, aurora blue, neutral grey, trade-wind blue, methylbenzene yellow…every color tone has a corresponding number. The whole process is complicated and tedious. When the pigments are configured, infused into the corresponding cut blocks for printing, then the printing operation for custom silk scarves would be ready to proceed.
Custom Silk Scarves – Pattern Printing
This is the last step of silk scarf customization. The silk piece goods rolls and extends on printing machine, proceed to printing with every cut block, making every color by pressing for one time. The pattern would gradually appear with the press printing of cut blocks. After that, hang the silk scarves dry, fix the colors by steam heating boiler, washing out the printing residue of vegetable glue, heating it dry with hot air.
The last work is hand-cutting and hand roll hem which would take about 45 minutes for each piece of silk scarf.
How to Keep The Fastness of Silk Scarves?
With the rapid development of garments, the apparel accessories have also got a gigantic prospect. The sales of silk scarves are also unprecedented. But most of people are only aware of the unique styles in the respect of collocation, but neglect the maintenance of silk scarves. As time goes by, it would appear yellow and lose its’ natural sheen. First, it should be sure that there isn’t any sweat stain or other attached contaminants on your body, because the acid material would easily do harm to mulberry silk. The silk scarf wouldn’t have a great softness once the organizational structure is destroyed. Second, don’t need to wash silk scarves often. The frequent kneading will affect the silk as well. Especially it would need hand washing gently. Don’t use the high-temperature water. Just warm water will be fine.

Don’t fold silk scarves when you hang them out, otherwise it would leave with a crease. Also, don’t expose it under daylight directly, otherwise it would bring the possibility of color fading.

If the silk scarf has already a sign of color fading, it would look better to smear a little fabric softener on where there is a color fading. It is a normal phenomenon if these silk has a small area of color fading. It is a bit hard to recover back to its original state. The primary way to keep it from color fading is just to do the maintenance work well, otherwise it would be hard to recover by 100% percent.

What Silk Fabrics Are There On The Market?
When it comes to pure silk scarves, the first reaction is just of mulberry silk. Silk fabric is pure mulberry silk fabric. According to fabric surface and structure, it can be divided to crepe de chine, georgette, etc. The common silk fabrics on market are usually crepe satin plain, silk twill. There isn’t a division of grade among these 4 fabrics. They have different characteristics.
